After successive years of festival fun, the Queen of the Lakes festival is back with us again in Ballinrobe in 2010. The festival is running from Sunday, July 18th – July 25th. Starting on the Sunday with activities like the Slow Bicycle Race, a couple of days of the ever popular Ballinrobe races, Teddy bear picnic, Arts and crafts, Ballinrobe on Ice and of course right through to the grand finale the crowning of the Queen of the Lakes winner on Sunday the 25th.

There will be music and entertainment in local pubs every night of the week. Heritage day returns as well, where Ballinrobe will step back in time to a 60’s theme with vintage parade and country markets.

So there is something here for young and old alike and the 2010 festival is set to be even better than previous years.
